Abstracts of a workshop held in Ottawa, Canada, November 20-23, 1992.

Members of the Canadian climate modelling community met in Ottawa with representatives of
the Canadian paleo-proxy community and a few international invitees to discuss and plan
options for research under the Paleoclimate-Model Intercomparison Project (PMIP). The
workshop dealt specifically with the interval 6,000 years BP (referred to as 6 ka), and
how data from that era can be used by Canadian modellers as part of their model
intercomparison activity.
