Mobil Supports Forest Projects (JUNE 1999)

An EPA press release reported that on April 7, 1999, Mobil Corporation announced that it will support three forest- conservation projects this year that will help slow the buildup of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Mobil will continue its partnership with American Forests by funding the planting of 500,000 trees on public lands in the United States, provide funding support for forest conservation studies conducted by The Nature Conservancy in Peru, and support additional forest studies by Conservation International in Indonesia.
